The Charlton Chase could not run if it wasn’t for the support of numerous individuals and organisations, and we would like to thank all of those who give their time and facilities so freely.  

Each year teams from local youth groups such as yours enter the Charlton Chase. This elite event
attracts hundreds of young people who enjoy the challenge of Outdoor Pursuits; so WHAT NEXT?

WELL, WE HAVE JUST THE PLACE FOR YOU!
Tyle Morgrug is a sole occupancy, self-catering, self-programming, 3 stars Cottage and Bunkhouse situated in a splendid location, just west of Merthyr Tydfil in the Brecon Beacons. It is run by The Chichester Youth Adventure Trust and is available for groups like yours at the special rate of £10 per person per night. It can accommodate up to 29 people. There is also a camping area.

The Brecon Beacons is a fantastic area for walking and the cottage is an excellent base for  DofE expeditions. A wide range of other activities including climbing, abseiling, cave and mine exploration, canoeing, orienteering and mountain biking are available locally. Exploring the amazing waterfalls and gorges which abound the area is well worth doing.
